As satellite operators acquire terrestrial spectrum to negotiate market access, the ultimate distribution of traffic will continue to rely heavily on ground-based infrastructure, high-capacity fiber backhaul, and localized edge compute nodes within commercial properties. Strategic partnerships across the digital infrastructure value chain will increasingly prioritize multi-orbit resilience, combining terrestrial indoor coverage with orbital direct-to-device capabilities to deliver uninterrupted enterprise connectivity.
